Who Is The Real Survivorman? (Bear Grylls VS Les Stroud)

If you have never watched ‘Man Vs Wild’ or perhaps the Canadian version ‘Survivorman’ then you have been literally living under a huge rock. The concept of the show is pretty much like this; A man gets thrown out into the jungle or a dessert or some ice place and this guy (whether its Bear or Les) has experience in surviving so he teaches his surviving skills with the people whom are watching but both men do there show completely different.

Man VS Wild: Its pretty much Bear Grylls being dropped off in crazy places with nothing but a few useless things for one day and showing you how to survive and what to eat when your at that place and showing you how to find help. He brings one or two people to film him while doing this.

Survivorman: Its the Canadian version of Man VS Wild, where he pretty much does the same exact same thing but its only him and his camera.

What I found very amusing is that Bear Grylls has camera men and he isn’t alone and yet he seems to find the worst food in history while surviving (IE; scorpions, cow dung, spiders) and Les seems to find the most boring food ever and its only him and his camera.

If I had to choose which show to watch, Id most likely choose Man VS Wild and I mean I do watch it but I don’t mean to let down my Canadian friend Les, I do have reasons to not enjoying his show more…like reason A: Bear seems to always entertain me cause I always wonder what he will eat on the show and reason B: I get kinda nervous or something whenever I see Les walking away and his lonely camera just sitting there as he fades away, how does he even get it back?

Other reasons include Bears name and accent and his last guest star Will Ferrel…so clearly its the best surviving show ever. You watch a man eat shitty food while your in the comfort of your own home and you watch Bear try and kill some really poisonous animals, which always makes me nervous.

If anyone wins this, Id give it to Bear for the main reason that this man casually drinks his own urine on the show like its coke and I have YET to see Les do that.
